Villa Athene is an ecological, traditional villa offering absolute privacy. It was built in 2001 in the quiet village of Prines only 6km from the vibrant town of Rethymnon, Crete.

The villa has 120 square metres of comfortable living space and was built on a beautiful plot of land of some 800 square metres amidst olive trees and many colourful flowers common to Crete.

• All the rooms have insect screens on the window panes to let nothing but the village's clean air through into the house day and night.
• All sheets, pillow cases and towels are white and made of 100% cotton of the highest quality and the French bed covers are also made of 100% cotton.
• The drapes are handmade and of pure cotton. We have taken special pains to ensure that items in the house are made of natural materials. All bedroom rugs and carpets are hand made.
• All the bedrooms have air-conditioning units, ceiling fans and heating radiators.
