Choosing, Booking & Cancelation policy for a villa rental

How much is the rental home i want?
- Prices differ from house to house and are also a function of season and occupancy (number of guests occupying the house). Refer to the pricing tables on each individual home page. In case the number of person is different please contact us

I’m looking for a villa rental on a destination you don’t have. Can you find me one?
- Please send us by email your request and we will reply to you within maximum 48 hours if something is found available. There are thousands of houses for rent that are not on our site.

Can i get a better price?
- Rates offered by AliceBlue Villas are not subject to further negotiations. Discounts are possible for stays over 14 nights or for reservations made and paid more that 10-12 months in advance

What is included in the price quoted and what is not?
- The price includes the rental fee, the utilities (water, electricity), linens & towels (in some cases also beach or pool towels), cleaning at the frequency described, a welcome person that will lead you and show you around the house, a welcome basket in some cases, pool & garden maintenance (where applicable), our 24-hour telephone support in case you have any questions/problems during your vacation.
The price does not include: transfers from or to the house (unless specifically mentioned), food, water or beverages, extra services (unless specifically mentioned), phone calls, internet services (unless specified otherwise), laundry, heating or air conditioning (where applies and is excluded).

What is the procedure to book a villa and what is the payment schedule?
- Please call us, email us your request or complete the online booking form our website.
We will reply with the availability within maximum 24 hours.
The house can be blocked for maximum 24 hours after sending the offer. After this period we need your decision and we can confirm the booking only after receiving the payment of the 50% advance.
The rest of the amount is due to be paid minimum 5 weeks before check-in (unless mentioned otherwise).
After full payment we will send you by email the accommodation voucher and the exact coordinates of the villa.

Can i have some friends visit or stay over?
- Your contract is strictly for the number of people stated in its beginning. Inviting guests without notifying us will lead to the immediate termination of your contract without refund. Owners reserve the right to deny the access and stay for extra persons. Some locations allow the increase on the number on persons, only if they are announced in advance. Additional costs may apply.

Is there a rental agreement?
- The rental agreement will be sent by email when we will issue the advance payment invoice. The contract should be signed and returned by email/fax.

Do i need to bring linens and towels?
- All of our homes supply guests with linens & towels. You have to bring your beach or pool towel, where applies and are excluded.

Can i bring my pet?
- Yes, only if we are notified when booking the villa and if we obtain the owners’ permission. For most properties there won’t be an extra charge for pets but you will need to supply their needs (food, water & food bowls, bed etc)
The pet has must be under your constant control and supervision and cannot leave property unaccompanied. The responsibility for its safety and for potential damages is yours.

Can I book a boat or a car through AliceBlue Villas? What other services can you offer me?
- Depending on the chosen property and its location, we can provide additional services, including the issue of airplane tickets, ferry boat tickets, car rental, boat rental, guided tours etc. These services require application, confirmation and advance payment. Please inquire.

Can I rent the villa for a weekend?
- Minimum rental period for season and high season is 7 nights and for the midseason 5 nights. Rarely, two or three day rentals may be available for specific dates. Please inquire

How does the security deposit work?
- The security deposit is an amount you pay on spot to the owner, on top of the rental fee, to cover possible damages to the property or extra services. The fee is usually from 10-20% of the total rental fee or one night of accommodation. We will let you know the amount with your booking confirmation (in case it applies). After your departure, the house is inspected. If no damage is found, the deposit is returned to you in cash or into your account within 15 days from your departure. If damage is found, it is assessed and the equivalent amount is taken out of the security deposit to repair/replace the objects damaged. The balance -if there is one- will be returned to you.
Word of caution: your liability to damage is NOT limited to the amount of the security deposit. If the damage exceeds the deposit, you will be called to cover the full amount of the damage.

What if I have to cancel my reservation?
- It is possible to cancel you reservation with/without penalty depending on the cancelation policy of each villa. This policy will be sent by email before signing the contract.

What documents do I need?
- For your booking it is necessary to send us the full name of all persons, phone number of the group leader (to be contacted by owner), full address, passport or EU ID number, e –mail address.

Arrival, Departure, the Homes & your Stay

When can we arrive? Can we leave later?
- You can arrive any time that is arranged in advance. Some houses have restrictions as to Saturday arrivals and departures. However, whether you arrive early or late, the amount that should be paid for tat day remains unchanged, except for additional services.
Departure should be arranged before 11 am on the day of your departure. In the case of late departures, if that is agreeable, please notify us in advance so we can talk to the owner and establish the extra fee in case applicable.

How will I find the houses? What about transfers?
- We will send you along with the accommodation voucher the exact location of the property and the itinerary. In some cases, somebody will meet you (usually the owner) to take you to the house. We will ask you to provide us with your arrival details and cell number. Transfers (luggage or guest) to or from the property are not included but we can offer them as extra services.
The names of villas on AliceBlue Villas website are not the real names for the villas. The real name for each villa will be specified along with the accommodation voucher.

Where do I get and leave the keys?
- Most times somebody will greet you out and take the keys. We will let you know where to leave the keys.

How close is the beach?
- It is specified in each villa description. In case not – please request it.

Are there laundry facilities in the vicinity?
- Most houses come with a clothes washer

Is the water potable?
- On most islands you have to buy bottled water to drink. You can use the tap water to cook, wash, brush teeth. Bottled water is not included in the house price, though sometimes as a courtesy, it is provided by the owners

Breakfast is served at the villa?
- Breakfast is not included in our properties unless specifically stated. Breakfast can be served for an extra cost. Please enquire.

Is smoking allowed in the villa?
- All houses are non-smoking properties inside. Please use the outdoor spaces and pay attention to extinguishing cigarettes.

Is there a pool at the villa? Can I use it?
- Pools can be completely private or shared. That is described in the detailed house description. House pools do not have life guards or medical personnel so please be careful when you use them.

For questions or other inquiries during your stay – along with your voucher accommodation you will receive a phone number that you can use 24 hours.
